Hi guys, So I poured my first silver.. That was an experience. First couple of times after watching numerous videos saw that you had to pour it kinda quick I tried that and splashed it over the mold and stone. Doh.. Slowed my roll and then it would cool half way through.. I finally got into a rhythm but I always seem to get schmutz on the pour. I tried borax, I used silver rounds and even a graphite rod to try and pull it out but woomph there it is every time. I hesitate to grind it off as it marks the finish.. I tried buffing it out and got a rouged finger out if it that looks like a nicotine stain on my fingertips. So how do you keep that from happening? I'll be getting 50oz of silver today or tomorrow and plan at trying my hand with delft clay. We'll see how that goes!

No kidding? Just soak it in vinegar? I was told to use a wire brush on it but that scratches the hell out of it. Thank you so much!
